With the global rise in automated dining and drive-thru demands, a well-known quick-service restaurant (QSR) group in Europe planned to expand its deployment of outdoor ordering kiosks. However, the harsh outdoor environments led to severe operational and maintenance crises with their first-generation test equipment.

Three Major Client Pain Points

• Highly Responsive Projected Capacitive Touch (P-CAP Touch): To deliver a seamless user experience, BIS integrated advanced P-CAP touch technology. Its highly sensitive multi-touch capability gives customers a smooth and intuitive smartphone-like experience, significantly speeding up the checkout process and reducing waiting lines.
